Alliance Wetlands Guide Part 4
Level 28

1. Go to Captain Halydor, on the northern ship. Kill him, get the key, and open the chest at the bottom of the ship.
   
   
2. Head southeast and kill Giant Wetlands Crocolisks and collect the 6 Giant Crocolisk Skins.
   
   
3. Walk along the rivers and kill 8 Fen Creepers. They spawn every so often and only in deep water along the rivers. Follow the rivers and kill them until finished with the quest.
   
   
4. Go to Whelgar's Excavation Site. Get the quest Uncovering the Past at the NPCs up the mountain path.
   
   
5. In the Excavation Site, kill 10 Mottled Scytheclaw and 10 Mottled Razormaw. As you're doing this, look out for the Fragments:
   
   
• Ados Fragment: A Chest
  
• Modr Fragment: A Thin, Tall Vase
  
• Neru Fragment: A Dirt Pile
  
• Golm Fragment: A Big Pot
  
  
6. Turn in Ormer's Revenge. Get the follow-up Ormer's Revenge.
   
   
7. Go kill Sarltooth by going uphill on the path at the westernmost side of the Excavataion Site. Look for any Fragments which may be up here.
   
   
8. Go to the dwarves once again and turn in Ormer's Revenge and Uncovering the Past.
   
   
9. Clear through the orcs to the Dragonmaw Catapult and burn it. This will complete Nek'rosh's Gambit - get the follow-up Defeat Nek'rosh.
   
   
10. Head further southeast and kill Nek'rosh at the very end of the orcish encampment and get Nek'rosh's Head.
    
    
11. Head east to Rethiel the Greenwarden.

1. At Rethiel the Greenwarden, turn in Blisters on the Land.
   
   
2. Head northwest to Longbraid. Turn in Fall of Dun Modr and pick up the quests here:
   
   
   • The Thandol Span
     
   • The Dark Iron War
   • A Grim Task
     
     
   • The Fury Runs Deep (Stockades Instance) - Note: Abandon Later if you don't go to The Stockades. After receiving this quest, you'll have all the Stockades quests you can get besides some in Stormwind (Quell the Uprising and The Color of Blood) . Its almost time to go to The Stockades if you can get someone to run you through it, its a very nice experience boost. Groups for The Stockades are rare, but if possible, join in. If you don't go to The Stockades, abandon this quest as well as Crime and Punishment, What Comes Around..., and The Stockade Riots. Join the queue for a Stockades instance and keep your eyes open for a run.
   
   
3. Go southeast to Balgaras. He's a bit high level and comes with a voidwalker so he's a bit tough. Kill him first, then either run away and go back to loot his head later, or kill any adds and his voidwalker. As well, kill as many of the single dwarves walking around in this dark iron dwarf camp.
   
   
4. Head into Dun Modr to kill off the rest of the dwarves necessary for The Dark Iron War - finish killing 10 Dark Iron Dwarf, 5 Dark Iron Tunneler, 5 Dark Iron Saboteur, and 5 Dark Iron Demolitionist.
   
   
5. Head northeast onto the right side bridge. Find Ebenzer Rustlocke's Corpse by going into the first east entrance on the bridge you see.
   
   
6. Go back to Longbraid.

1. At Longbraid, turn in your quests:
   
   
   • The Thandol Span and get the follow-up The Thandol Span
     
   • The Dark Iron War
   • A Grim Task
     
     
2. Time to get a rather obscure quest! Head to the middle the bridge then jump off the west side into the water. Get the Waterlogged Envelope. It is difficult to see, has no glowy sparkles, and has no quest starting exclamation mark. The area to mouse-over is very small to get the cursor to change to the "chest opening" cursor. You are looking for a sunken dwarf, crushed by a big stone block, with a letter in his hand. Position yourself so that the radar looks like the one on the image below, then dive down and look carefully for it. From the Waterlogged Envelope, get the quest Sully Balloo's Letter. (Note: If you're into lore, read it - its a touching, sad tale.)
   
   
   
   
3. Head further east along the river - to the north, there will be some land to go up. Climb up the ramp and you'll find it's the backdoor entrance to the Cache of Explosives. The mobs here are fairly high level, so carefully pull them and then blow up the Cache.
   
   
4. Return to Longbraid and complete The Thandol Span. Get the follow-up, Plea To The Alliance.
   

Once done, Hearth to Menethil Harbor. Turn in your quests:

• Apprentice's Duties
  
• Defeat Nek'rosh
  
• The Eye of Paleth and get the follow-up Cleansing the Eye
