Horde Hinterlands Guide Part 1

From Orgrimmar, take the zeppelin to the Undercity.

At the Undercity, go to the Magic Quarter to Oran Snakewrithe near the center area of the Undercity. Get Lines of Communication.

1. Fly to Tarren Mill, Hillsbrad Foothills.
   
   
2. Ride southeast into The Hinterlands.

1. Head up the mountain path to Shindigger's Camp. Get A Sticky Situation.
   
   
2. Ride southeast to Revantusk Village. Get all of the many quests here, when done, your quest log for The Hinterlands should look like:
   
   
   • A Sticky Situation
   • Avenging the Fallen
   • Cannibalistic Cousins
   • Gammerita, Mon!
   • Hunt the Savages
   • Message to the Wildhammer
   • Stalking the Stalkers
   • Vilebranch Hooligans
   • Lard Lost His Lunch
   • Snapjaws, Mon!
   • The Atal'ai Exile (from an earlier chain in the Swamp of Sorrows)
   • Whiskey Slim's Lost Grog (from Stranglethorn Vale)
   • Sprinkle's Secret Ingredient (from an earlier chain in Tanaris)

1. Head north and kill 10 Saltwater Snapjaws as well as Gammerita. Pick up 12 Pupellyverbos Port along the coastline.
   
   
2. Head around back south and up the path to the first troll camp. This is a possible spawn location for Slagtree's Lost Tools - it may also be in another camp elsewhere. If not here, continue on and search for the tools in all of the next steps in any camp.
   
   
3. Head northwest to another troll camp. Kill all the trolls in the area and search for Slagtree's Lost Tools.
   
   
4. Head northweest to another troll camp. Kill all the trolls in the area and search for Slagtree's Lost Tools.
   
   
5. Head southwest and kill all the wildlife here - kill 10 Savage Owlbeast, 5 Silvermane Stalker, and look for the Razorbeak Skylord which wanders around the area. Kill it for the Skylord Plume.
   
   
6. Head north to Skulk Rock. Open Horde Supply Crates for Hinterlands Honey Ripple - also, look for Slagtree's Lost Tools.
   
   
7. Head west to another troll camp. Finish killing 6 Vilebranch Scalper and 2 Vilebranch Soothsayer here and search for Slagtree's Lost Tools. This is the last location where the tools spawn is possible - if you haven't found them yet, they are in a previous area you visited.
   
   
8. Head west to Agol'watha. Open Horde Supply Crates for 10 Hinterlands Honey Ripples.
   
   
9. Head west to Quel'danil Lodge. Clear your way around the lodge area and kill 8 Highvale Scout, 5 Highvale Outrunner, 5 Highvale Ranger, and 2 Highvale Marksman while you clear your way to the Highvale Notes, Highvale Report, Highvale Records to burn them.
   
   
   • Highvale Notes are on the west side of the lodge
   • Highvale Report is to the north of the lodge, under the gazebo
   • Highvale Records are inside the lodge

   Then, once you've completed all the objectives, talk to Rin'ji inside the lodge and escort him out with the escort quest Rin'ji is Trapped!.
   

10. Go to Shindigger's Camp - you have to climb up from the west side, again.
    

1. At Shindigger's Camp, turn in A Sticky Situation and get the follow-up Ripple Delivery.
   
   
2. Head east to Hiri'wantha. Get Venom Bottles, a quest that starts from the Venom Bottles on the tables in the troll ruins.
   
   
3. (If you have the Atal'ai Exile quest from the Swamp of Sorrows chain) Go further south to the Atal'ai Exile up the southern temple. Turn in The Atal'ai Exile and get the follow-up Return to Fel'Zerul.
   
   
4. (If you have the Sprinkle's Secret Ingredient quest from the Tanaris chain) Head northeast and dive into the lake for a Violet Tragan.
   
   
5. Around the area and to the north, kill 10 Silvermane Howler along the way in the area.
   
   
6. If you've gotten a Distress Beacon OOX-09/HL by now - a rare drop from any random mob in the zone - go to the Robotic Chicken and turn in Find OOX-09/HL! Get the follow-up escort quest.
   
   
   • Run and clear in front of the chicken because it has low hit points. You will face 2 ambushes of 3 mobs each - let the chicken attack one and draw aggro while you face the other 2.
     
     
7. Ride northeast and jump off the waterfall. Under it, you'll find Cortello's Chest - open it to complete Cortello's Riddle.
   
   
8. Swim northeast to an island and open Lard's Picnic Basket. Two trolls will ambush you - kill them and loot the basket.
   
   
9. Swim southeast to an island. On top of it is a tablet called Rin'ji's Secret. Turn in Rin'ji is Trapped! and get the follow-up Rin'ji's Secret.
   
   
10. Return to Revantusk Village.
